# Installation

> Install the FlexiCapture Connector for Laserfiche: prerequisites, running the setup wizard, verifying the Windows service, and uninstalling via Control Panel.

The following components must be installed prior to installing the LASERFICHE:

* Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5 for the LASERFICHE Windows service
* Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 for the FC 11 export scripts
* Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015 Update 1 or later
* Laserfiche SDK 10 Runtime

When the installation completes, open **services.msc** and make sure the LASERFICHE is running.

To be able to install the LASERFICHE, you must have Windows administrator privileges.

To install the Connector, run the **ABBYY FlexiCapture 12 Connector for Laserfiche.exe** and follow the instructions of the setup wizard.

  You can uninstall the Connector just like any other software by using the Windows Control Panel. Click **Control Panel → Programs → Programs and Features**, select LASERFICHE, and click **Uninstall**.
