# Deleting a Checkmark Field

> Remove a checkmark field element from a form in ABBYY FormDesigner: select the element, and then choose Delete from the Edit menu or the shortcut menu.

To delete a **checkmark field** element:

1. Select the **checkmark field** element you wish to delete.
2. On the **Edit** menu, select **Delete** (or select the **Delete** item on the shortcut menu).
