# Checkmark groups

> Checkmark groups join several checkmark fields with question text in Matrix, Table, or List layouts. Add, edit, and delete them in ABBYY FormDesigner.

A **checkmark group** is an element of a machine-readable form that joins several checkmark fields into a group. It is a table that consists of a text field (questions) and several checkmark fields (answers). With the [Checkmark Group Creation Wizard](/flexi-capture/form-designer/element-checkmark-group-add), you can create a checkmark group of the selected type (Matrix, Table, or List) and specify its properties.
