# Deleting a Line Separator Element

> Take a line separator off your form in ABBYY FormDesigner: select the element, then pick Delete from the Edit menu or the shortcut menu.

To delete a **line separator** element:

1. Select the **line separator** element you wish to delete.
2. On the **Edit** menu, select **Delete** (or select the **Delete** item on the shortcut menu).
