# Deleting Number Field Element

> Delete a numeric field element from a machine-readable form in ABBYY FormDesigner by selecting it and using the Edit menu or shortcut menu Delete command.

To delete a **numeric field** element:

1. Select a **numeric field** element.
2. Select Delete item (**Edit →** Delete menu or Delete item from the shortcut menu).
