# Deleting a Table Element

> Delete a table element from a machine-readable form in ABBYY FormDesigner by selecting it and using the Delete command on the Edit or shortcut menu.

To delete a **table** element:

1. Select the table element you wish to delete.
2. On the **Edit** menu, select **Delete** (or select the **Delete** item on the shortcut menu).
