# Text element local menu

> Commands in the Text element local menu of ABBYY FormDesigner: cut, copy, paste, delete, and access to the Font and Paragraph properties dialog boxes.

This menu is available when editing the contents of a **Text** element.

| **Item**         | **Description**                                                                               |
| ---------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Cut**          | Deletes the selected element or text and copies it to the Clipboard.                          |
| **Copy**         | Copies the selected element or text to the Clipboard.                                         |
| **Paste**        | Pastes the element or text from the Clipboard.                                                |
| **Delete**       | Deletes the selected element. Any related structure fields will also be deleted.              |
| **Font...**      | Opens the [Font](/flexi-capture/form-designer/font-settings) dialog box.                      |
| **Paragraph...** | Opens the [Paragraph properties](/flexi-capture/form-designer/paragraph-settings) dialog box. |
