# Value range constraints for numbers

> Restrict numeric field values in ABBYY FlexiCapture by enabling constraints, setting minimum and maximum values, and treating violations as warnings.

To specify the value range constraints for numbers:

1. Enable the option Use constraints.
2. Specify the minimum and maximum number values.
3. Treat validation error as warning Select this option if you wish any non-compliance with the constraints you specified to be treated as a warning.

When processing documents, the program will check whether the entered value is within the specified interval.
