# Activation avec une licence Runtime - Windows

> Activez la bibliothèque ABBYY FineReader Engine sous Windows avec une licence Runtime autonome, réseau ou en ligne selon le type de protection et le mode d’installation.

La deuxième étape de la distribution des applications utilisant la bibliothèque ABBYY FineReader Engine consiste à activer la bibliothèque avec une licence Runtime.

Si vous utilisez une licence Runtime [autonome](/fr/fine-reader/engine/licensing#standalone_network), l’activation s’effectue sur le poste de travail où la bibliothèque ABBYY FineReader Engine est installée. Si vous utilisez une licence Runtime [réseau](/fr/fine-reader/engine/licensing#standalone_network), vous devez activer ABBYY FineReader Engine sur un serveur du réseau — un ordinateur qui gérera et distribuera les licences entre les postes de travail du réseau. Vous pouvez également configurer une [configuration redondante](/fr/fine-reader/engine/licensing/working-with-the-licensingsettingsxml-file#redundancy) à l’aide de deux serveurs de licences. Si vous utilisez une licence Runtime [en ligne](/fr/fine-reader/engine/licensing#protection_types), aucune activation n’est requise, mais vous devez vérifier que les connexions aux services de licence en ligne d’ABBYY sont autorisées et que le certificat racine GoDaddy est installé dans le magasin de certificats Trusted Root Certification Authorities de l’ordinateur local sur l’ordinateur où le service de licence est installé.

Vous devez utiliser l’une des options décrites dans le tableau ci-dessous. Le choix dépend du type de protection de votre licence et du mode d’installation de la bibliothèque ABBYY FineReader Engine.
