# Application Server

> ABBYY FlexiCapture のステーション間通信の中核となるコンポーネントである Application Server のインストール方法。IIS およびファイアウォールの設定も含みます。

Application Server は、ABBYY FlexiCapture システム全体の正常な動作を支えます。各[ステーション](/ja/flexi-capture/architecture/stations)は、Application Server を介して相互に通信します。

ステーションをインストールする前に、Application Server をインストールすることをお勧めします。Application Server をインストールする前に、[必要なコンポーネント](/ja/flexi-capture/admin-guide/ds-requirements)がインストールされていることを確認してください。

  コンポーネントがコンピューターにインストールされていない場合は、ABBYY FlexiCapture のディスクからそれらすべてを (Internet Information Services を除く) インストールできます。Internet Information Services は Windows のコンポーネントであり、Windows オペレーティング システムに含まれています。

* ファイアウォールを使用している場合は、World Wide Web Publishing Service を必ず許可してください。
* Windows 認証ではなく、ログイン名とパスワードで [Scanning Station](/ja/flexi-capture/architecture/scan-station) を認証するには、Internet Information Services を設定してください: `FlexiCapture/Server` レベルで Basic Authentication を有効にしてください。

Application Server をインストールすると、[管理および監視コンソール](/ja/flexi-capture/architecture/monitor-station)が自動的に起動します (このコンソールはサーバーと一緒にインストールされます) 。ここで、データベース接続を設定し、オペレーターにアクセス権限を付与できます。
