Installation using Red Hat Package Manager
Install ABBYY FineReader Engine on Red Hat-like Linux distributions using the RPM package manager — installs only the library; Licensing Service and code samples must be set up manually.
For the Red Hat-like systems, FineReader Engine installation can be performed with the Red Hat Package Manager (RPM). Using this package manager means that you will install only the library, but skip the Licensing Service installation and the setting of the code samples. You need to initiate these steps manually.
The following command will install the library into the default folder /opt/ABBYY/FREngine12:
