CloseTaskEx

Return a task for further processing and route documents to a stage with the CloseTaskEx Web Services API method.

Returns the task for further processing. This method replaces the CloseTask method from the previous versions of the Web Services API.

When you use the Web Services API to route documents, other routing methods such as enter conditions or scripts are not applied. The exception is stages of the User type (ID=2000), for which both pre-processing and post-processing always run and the workflow works properly.

If documents must be sent to a particular stage after the task is closed, specify the next stage explicitly in the task XML file. Attach the RoutingInfo.xsd schema to the task when sending it to Verification Postprocessing. The schema includes information about the stages the documents must be sent to, the tasks that must be created, and so on. You can also specify which Document Definitions should be matched during document recognition.

To send documents to a specific stage, you can also use the SendTask method.

Parameters

Name	Type	Description
sessionId	int	The ID of the connection to the Application Server
taskId	int	The ID of the task to be returned for further processing
stageType	int	The ID of the stage type to which the task is to be sent. See ProcessingStage for possible values. To return the task for further processing, the stageType value must be 410 or 510.

At the Data Verification stage, the changes are saved in the task. To transfer them into the documents, upload an XML file containing the task data using a POST request, and then send the task to the Data Verification Postprocessing stage when closing the task.
