Upgrading ABBYY Reporting Service

Upgrade the ABBYY FlexiCapture Reporting service by uninstalling the previous version and running the installer, which reuses your existing database.

Starting from ABBYY FlexiCapture 12 Release 3 Update 5, the Reporting Service is only compatible with its corresponding version of ABBYY FlexiCapture. You cannot use the setup wizard to upgrade your ABBYY Reporting Service. However, previous versions can be upgraded to the current version using the ABBYY FlexiCapture Reporting installer.

To upgrade your version of ABBYY Reporting Service:

1. Uninstall the previous version.
2. Download the ABBYY Reporting installation package.
3. Run the executable file and follow the instructions in the setup wizard.

Once the installation process is completed, you do not need to create or configure the Reporting database. Reporting Service will use an existing database.
