Connector components

The components differ between Laserfiche 11 and Laserfiche 12.

Laserfiche 11

The ABBYY FlexiCapture Connector for Laserfiche includes the following components:

• Connector Windows service – Enables interoperability between the ABBYY FlexiCapture and Laserfiche servers. It launches a WCF service that provides an API for interacting with Laserfiche servers. This service requires Laserfiche SDK 10 and .NET Framework 4.5.
• ABBYY FlexiCapture export script – Sends extracted document data to Laserfiche servers through the connector service.

Laserfiche 12

The ABBYY FlexiCapture Connector for Laserfiche includes the following components:

• Binary files – Associate these with an ABBYY FlexiCapture project to enable loading files and metadata into Laserfiche.
• Custom activity for Laserfiche Workflow Designer – Set this up to send files from Laserfiche to ABBYY FlexiCapture.

The connector uses the Laserfiche SDK Runtime to load document image files and their metadata into the Laserfiche data storage system.
