Sample 2. Step 1: Create a new project

Set up the Sample 2 Recipes project in ABBYY FlexiLayout Studio and review the project file, batch folder, and templates folder that are created.

A FlexiLayout Studio project is a set of files that contains all the data for a FlexiLayout.

1. Create a project folder

   Create a folder named Recipes.

2. Create a new project

   Start ABBYY FlexiLayout Studio and select File → New Project.

3. Name and save the project

   • In the project name field, type Sample2.
   • For the project type, select ABBYY FlexiLayout Project Files (*.fsp).

After you create the project, the Recipes folder contains:

• Sample2.fsp – Your project file.
• Sample2Batch – The default folder where all images added to the batch are stored.
• Sample2Templates – The default folder where the FlexiLayout is stored.
