Sample 1. Step 14: Describe the YOUR PLANET NAME field with a PlanetName block

Define the PlanetName Text block in FlexiLayout Studio Sample 1, setting its location by choosing the PlanetName element as the block’s source element.

Create a Text block for the YOUR PLANET NAME field and set its location from the PlanetName element.

1. Open the FlexiLayout tab

   In the FlexiLayout Studio main window, click the FlexiLayout tab.

2. Add a Text block

   Select Blocks in the FlexiLayout tree, then select Add Blocks → Text in the FlexiLayout menu or New → Text on the shortcut menu.

   
3. Name the block

   In the Properties dialog box, type a name in the Name field, for example PlanetName.

   You can give the block a different name from its element, but using the same name makes the FlexiLayout easier to work with.

4. Set the source element

   Select Source element to describe the block’s location. Click and specify the PlanetName element as the source element.
