Open the FlexiLayout saved in *.afl format in ABBYY FlexiCapture.

Launch ABBYY FlexiCapture

Start ABBYY FlexiCapture.

Open or create a project

Create a new project or open an existing one.

Open the Document Definition

Create a new Document Definition, or open an existing one in the Document Definition Editor.
To open an existing Document Definition, select Project → Document Definitions…, select the Document Definition from the list, and click Edit….

Open the Section Properties dialog box

In the Document Definition Editor, select View → Properties….

Load the AFL file

  1. Click the FlexiLayout tab.
  2. Click Load….
  3. In the Open dialog box, select the *.afl file.

After you load the FlexiLayout, FlexiCapture creates the required Document Definition blocks automatically. To view the blocks, select Tools → Match Section.
